PPS Random Act of Kindness Campaign (RAOKC)

PPS is launching our own Random Act of Kindness Campaign to celebrate American Pharmacists Month. Coincidentally, the American Pharmacists Month was initiated by the student pharmacists at the UOP School of Pharmacy who we will be featuring at our second GBM! Our PPS RAOKC hopes to inspire members to learn the value of giving from not only being able to reach out to healthcare patients on a mass level but also to a wide-range of the population as well. Thus, you can make a difference as a Pre-Pharmacy student at this very instant through something as simple as taking a stance through facebook (see entry below) and a random act of kindness that has the incredible potential to go very far!

October is the American Pharmacists Month

The UCSD APhA Chapter is participating in a campaign with the University of the Pacific (UOP) APhA Chapter to spread awareness of the pharmacy profession since October is the American Pharmacists Month.

As a PPS member, you can help join in this cause and promote the pharmacy profession by updating your Facebook/Twitter status with daily facts that correlates with a specific day of the month and changing your Facebook profile picture to the logo seen above. This is a really incredible opportunity to already make a difference in helping to contribute to the further advancement and recognition of the pharmacy profession. But most importantly, you are helping to not only reach out to patients but also to the general mass public as well, which is a really powerful thing that you can do as a pre-pharmacy student today.
